On Saturday and Sunday, April 11th & 12th, noon to 5 pm both days, we’re hosting our annual Spring Open Studios Weekend at 744 Alabama Street (between 19th and 20th Streets in The Mission District.) At this Free event immerse yourself in our community of artists. Wander the halls, explore artist’s studios, look at art and meet the artists. Our building is pretty awesome– enter through a sprawling sidewalk garden in full bloom right now and you’ll find The Art Explosion on the first and second floors. Miro Studios is on the 3rd floor. Over 50 artists to discover in our rabbit’s warren of funky, cozy studios — painters, photographers, fashion designers, sculptors, collage-ists, textile artists, ceramicists and some creative folks who’s work defies definition.
